Coroplast Global | News | 15 Jun 2026 Schwebebahnlauf 2026: Coroplast Group team turns out in force

The Schwebebahnlauf has become a firm fixture in the Coroplast Group’s annual calendar. Held along the route of Wuppertal’s iconic suspension railway, the running event is one of the largest of its kind in the region. In 2026, it once again created a truly special atmosphere. On June 14, more than 60 employees took part in ideal running conditions.

Great atmosphere and plenty of motivation

From as early as 2 o’clock, our company’s booth at the 14th Wuppertal Schwebebahnlauf was bustling with activity. Numerous runners took the opportunity to stock up on snacks, fresh fruit, muesli bars, and refreshing drinks before the start. The relaxed atmosphere inside the Coroplast Group tent provided the ideal setting to kick off the event together with colleagues, friends, and family, and to get into the right mindset for the run.

Commitment on and off the course

Shortly before the start, the Coroplast Group team gathered once more for a group photo. Wearing their red jerseys, our colleagues were easy to spot along the route. Right on time at 3:05 pm, the starting signal was given. Our runners headed onto the course highly motivated. Many colleagues, along with friends and family members, cheered them on along the route with applause, creating an energetic and uplifting atmosphere.

It was another fantastic day and, by now, my 13th time taking part in the Schwebebahnlauf. The event has become increasingly professional over the years – from the refreshments and the tent to the excellent overall organization. What I especially appreciate is the networking spirit at Coroplast Group: apprentices and managers stand together at the starting line as equals and with a strong sense of team spirit. The family atmosphere is also very noticeable, with relatives and friends contributing to this special experience as well.

Movement, Motivation and Team Spirit

Our commitment to the Schwebebahnlauf goes beyond supporting a sporting event. The run represents a work environment that actively promotes physical activity, health, and team spirit.

To prepare for the run, we organized a professionally guided training program together with our long-standing partner SportsUp. Over the course of eight weeks, employees of all performance levels were able to participate – from beginners to experienced recreational runners. In addition to athletic development, the focus was above all on the shared experience – training together, sharing progress, and motivating one another.

Movement creates connection

The Schwebebahnlauf was far more than a sporting event. It impressively demonstrated how team spirit and corporate culture are lived out in everyday work. We would like to thank all participants and supporters for their commitment – and we are already looking forward to the next Schwebebahnlauf in 2027
