Since 2015, we have supported the Christian Morgenstern Schule, a private Waldorf school in Wuppertal, which concentrates on the specialist areas of “Learning” and “Emotional and social development”. To do so, the institute uses various progressive pedagogical methods, such as eurythmy, language, music or art therapy. There, we support children who have difficulties with learning or living in community.
The educational institute also has wonderful outdoor grounds. For example, it has a new climbing tower, which we helped to fund in 2022 and not only promotes surefootedness, but also builds children’s self-confidence.
As an employer of around 7,100 people worldwide, we consider it our responsibility to support young talent early on and intensively – as shown in an exemplary fashion by the Junior Uni Wuppertal. The children’s and young people's university, which was started in 2008 as an educational experiment, has since given more than 42,000 study places to students aged 4 to 20.
The Coroplast Group has supported the Junior Uni Wuppertal since 2009, thereby helping to run its numerous offerings in the fields of science of technology.
Since 1995, we have supported the Friends and Alumni Association of the University of Wuppertal e.V. (FABU) – a strong, interdisciplinary network for students, alumni, members and partners of the university. Since 2016, we have further intensified our involvement as a premium sponsor.
With our sponsoring membership, we support the wide variety of projects organized by the FABU, including in the field of culture, talent programs and research, as well as teaching and international campus life at the university.
Supporting young talent is extremely important to us. We see it as an important long-term investment in our own competitiveness and the future of our industry. For this reason, we have been among the sponsors of the Germany Scholarship since 2017 and are proud to have worked closely with the University of Wuppertal and Ruhr University Bochum ever since. We are also pleased to support two scholarship recipients at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, starting in the winter semester of 2023/2024.
Thanks to this collaboration, numerous working students from various subject areas have been able to gain practical experience on interesting projects and write their dissertations at our company.
The Sales Management Department (SMD) of the Faculty of Economics at Ruhr University Bochum is the only university SMD in Europe to focus on sales research.
The Coroplast Group has been a member of the department’s exclusive Sales Excellence Circle since 2021. This circle of 11 companies works to enable students to receive an excellent university educations in sales. A wide range of formats offers students the opportunity to experience sales strategies in practice and learn from experienced experts.
In return, we come into contact with promising talent and can exchange ideas with other reputable member companies, such as Hilti, Geberit, UPS or Vorwerk – while benefiting from the scientific findings of first-class sales research.
Serving the common good and helping citizens in need – with this goal in mind, countless people are involved in volunteer fire brigades across Germany. The Coroplast Group supports this important voluntary work and does its bit in and on behalf of Wuppertal.
Since the 1950s, we have had our own volunteer fire department, which is on hand for emergencies on the company premises and lends skilled assistance. We have also been supporting the Nächstebreck Volunteer Fire Department for many years, which in addition to its acute emergency response, plays an important role in training young volunteers.
The institution has set itself the mission of being a second home for sick children and young people, their siblings and parents. The Burgholz Children’s and Youth Hospice is a place for grief and goodbyes, but above all, it’s a place for beautiful and happy moments.
The Coroplast Group financially supports this important work and the various activities of the hospice. Additionally, our apprentices organized a successful fundraiser and handed over the cheque in person.
The ecumenical foundation combines the forces of six Christian institutions. It finds its origins in the Christian mission to visit the sick, comfort the grieving and come alongside them in difficult situations. Even today, this mission remains as important as ever and we support the exemplary work of the volunteer hospice companions with our donations.

Since 1989, the association and its interdisciplinary team, based in Remscheid, have been taking care of children and young people affected by physical abuse, neglect or sexual violence.
With our financial support, we help to ensure that this important service can continue.
In 1995, the Wuppertaler Tafel took action to ensure that no one in Wuppertal went hungry. A canteen, food bank and a community food truck that operates in popular community hubs every day. The Tafel also offers clothing at fair prices in its very own community department store, while the Kindertafel serves children aged six and up free of charge.
We support this engagement in various ways: for example, we provide financial support for concrete needs and projects, including the purchase of a new refrigerated van that can be used to collect bulk donations of food. Our apprentices are also eager to get involved in “Social Days”. The talented young people help to unpack and sort food, assemble furniture or assist with renovating the premises.
