After her parental leave, the business administration graduate decided to return to work. When looking for the perfect employer, a friend who was already working for the Coroplast Group at the time advised her to take a look at the Wuppertal-based company. No sooner said than done: only a short time later, the now 47-year-old took up the position of assistant to the business division management at Coroflex – and has been showing what she's made of since 2017.
Her day-to-day business involves far more than Ina Zielesny initially suspected: in addition to supporting the business division management, the native Friesian passionately handles wide variety of projects. For example, she organizes workshops, manages Coroflex's patents and coordinates renovations and relocations, and is working with several colleagues on the development of a travel expenses policy. "My line manager knows who I am and trusts me completely. This gives me a lot of freedom to create exciting projects. No two days are the same," explains Ina Zielesny.
My favorite tasks are those that require my full dedication and give me the feeling that I am driving something forward. When I see the first results, I know that I have accomplished something meaningful.
In all the hustle and bustle of work, one thing must never be neglected for Ina Zielesny: work-life balance. Thanks to trust-based working hours and the option of remote work, she can keep up with the demands of both work and family.
The Coroplast Group is also committed and engaged when it comes to leisure activities: employees can always look forward to raffles for a wide variety of event tickets – from sport to culture. Ina Zielesny's son was so impressed after attending a handball match that he told his mother: "When I grow up, I want to work for the Coroplast Group too!"
When Ina Zielesny isn't busy after work with her nose in various cookbooks looking for her new favorite recipe, her great passion is travel. For some years now, she has preferred to travel in her own campervan. “I only started traveling in a campervan after having children,” says Ina Zielesny. Their last big trip together took the family to Iceland. "I plan everything myself – what we do and where we stop. I'm a bit of an organizational talent, just like at work," laughs the 47-year-old.
If you ask Ina Zielesny to describe the Coroplast Group in just one word, she answers: "Familiar – you simply feel at home here”.
