Coroplast Global | Events | 09 May 2023 Running sessions: Top fit at the start of the Schwebebahnlauf 2023

On June 18, the starting signal is given for the 11th Schwebebahnlauf in Wuppertal. The Coroplast Group will be part of it as a top partner. To ensure that our enthusiastic participants are well prepared for this event, we offer special training sessions on a regular basis - for beginners and professionals alike.

Health promotion that is fun

The health of our employees is of central focus to us. In addition, team spirit and belonging together are among the core values of the Coroplast Group. As a top partner of the Schwebebahnlauf, we would like to actively contribute to a field of participants that is as colorful as possible. We welcome all employees who accept this challenge with us - and use the running training sessions to prepare.

Our employees also have the opportunity to register their partners and children (aged 16 and over) for the Schwebebahnlauf.

The running sessions and the concept it is based on

Together with our long-standing partner SportsUp, we have developed a program for all performance levels - so all employees are very welcome and can work on their fitness within their individual capabilities. Our goal is to reach the finish line together as the Coroplast Group. As a visible expression of our team spirit, all participants in the running training sessions receive a running T-shirt in our brand look.

In total, the preparation program consists of eight units with different focuses:

  1. getting to know each other & initial diagnostics (running analysis).
  2. running without puffing 1 (basic endurance)
  3. interval training
  4. playful running training
  5. intermediate diagnostics (running analysis)
  6. bulletproof body (injury prevention)
  7. HIT running training (high intensity interval training)
  8. running without puffing 2 (basic endurance)

For each other, together, move

Under this slogan, the Schwebebahnlauf in Wuppertal has developed into a real major event since its premiere in 2012. Runners of all ages travel from all over NRW, Germany and even neighboring countries to take part.

A nice reminder: The Coroplast Group was also at the start of the last Schwebebahnlauf in 2022 with numerous employees.

  • 09:00 a.m.: official welcoming ceremony
    Start times:
    • 09:30 a.m.: Bambini run 500 m
      10:00 a.m.: Pupil run 1.6 km
    • 10:45 a.m.: Sparkassen half marathon 21.1 km
      10:50 a.m.: Sparkassen 10 km run
    • 12:30 o'clock: Award ceremony Sparkassen 10 km run
      13:00 o'clock: Award ceremony Sparkassen half marathon
    • 15:00 Uhr – 15:30 o'clock:  5 km- suspended run for teams and solo starters
    • 17:30 o'clock: Award ceremony of the 5 km run
