Granted, this is not the first time we have received this certification; however, we are particularly delighted by the fact that, compared to last year, we have managed to do better in many areas that are examined within the scope of the certification this year: We have done much better particularly in the areas of digital HR (+19%), learning (+16%), performance (+16%) and sustainability (+12%).
Decisive for these upward trends were measures such as
We are proud of the fact that we have achieved the Top Employer certification for the 15th time already, and have steadily improved our score. This shows that we're on the right path. In this respect, especially topics such as talent promotion across the generations, digitization and strategic recruitment play a critical role. We are continuing our efforts and have set ourselves the goal of achieving a score over 70% from 2026 onward.
The Top Employer label's intense certification process is a challenge for those responsible, but also a major bonus, as it gives the HR team a realistic picture of the status quo in the individual areas – particularly also in comparison to other companies. The Top Employer Institute's independent auditors provide us with tips that can be implemented in practice, identify improvement potentials and inspire us with best practices for various measures
All of this helps us to further develop our working environment in a targeted way.
Like after all of the previous successful certifications, we won't rest on our laurels, but will continue to forge ahead with renewed motivation. For example, we are planning to involve the staff even more through regular surveys and information events. Especially for our shift workers, we are planning to install a food vending machine to make it possible for them to also enjoy healthy meals outside of the canteen opening hours. We are also extending our resilience training offer to our non-office-based colleagues, and are reviewing our Corporate health management. Due to the high demand, we will also shortly introduce bike leasing.
Every year, the globally active Top Employer Institute, which was founded 30 years ago, examines the working environment of employees in the course of a certification program that involves several stages – globally, and at the national level. Surveys of all relevant HR areas such as the work environment, talent acquisition, learning, well-being and diversity & inclusion are carried out via comprehensive questionnaires – and subsequently checked and rated by independent experts. Only then will the company receive the coveted accolade for one year.
