For the third time, the Coroplast Group invited its employees to an exclusive art tour at the Visiodrom. But this year’s event was extra special: for the first time, we participated as one of the sponsors of this exhibition highlight, sending a strong signal in support of cultural diversity in the region.
Around 100 colleagues – many accompanied by guests –accepted our invitation and took part in the expert-guided tour of the current show, “Vincent van Gogh – Longing.” The event, held in the unique setting of the historic Gasometer, offered not only an immersive art experience but also opportunities for connection, conversation, and mindful reflection.
The exhibition “Vincent van Gogh – Longing” lives up to its name: over 100 world-famous works by the Dutch painter – such as Starry Night, Sunflowers, and The Terrace at Arles–come to life through monumental projections. Accompanied by specially composed music and dynamic lighting effects, it creates an intense, multisensory experience.
The immersive show gave our participants an entirely new way to connect with Van Gogh’s art and his biography. Particularly impressive was how colors, movement, and spatial sound seamlessly blend to make the emotional depth of the paintings palpable. Van Gogh’s visions and moods aren’t just displayed – they are truly felt.
It really feels like you’re standing right inside Van Gogh’s world of thoughts – the colors, the music, the scale of the images all have a powerful effect on you.
Right after the exhibition, many continued the evening at Aposto, the restaurant located within the Gasometer. Over Italian dishes and lively conversations, colleagues relaxed and reflected on the artwork – Van Gogh providing plenty of inspiration for animated discussions.
The art tour of “Van Gogh – Longing” continued a small tradition: in 2023 and 2024, we invited colleagues to exhibitions of other great artists at the Visiodrom – previously “Claude Monet – Rebel and Genius” and “Leonardo da Vinci – uomo universale.” The growing participation each year shows just how much these cultural offerings are appreciated – as shared, informal experiences and meaningful moments beyond work. Supporting regional culture and fostering the connection between work life and creativity is part of the Coroplast Group’s corporate philosophy.
