Coroplast Global | News | 07 Jun 2024 Exclusive art tours through two exhibitions in Wuppertal

We frequently extend invitations to our employees to attend exhibitions that we sponsor. This is an effective way for us to foster a culture of creativity and openness, while also enhancing cross-divisional collaboration.

A visit to the Von der Heydt Museum

As part of our wide-ranging commitment to art, we support the Von der Heydt Museum in Wuppertal with high-caliber exhibitions every year. In April, our employees once again had the opportunity to get to know the current exhibition sponsored by the Coroplast Group during a free guided tour.

The one-hour tour through the exhibition "Land of the Spotted Eagle" was an informative and humorous art experience thanks to the experienced guides. Together we discovered the German artist Lothar Baumgarten (1944-2018) with works from the Lothar Schirmer Collection.

Afterwards, everyone gathered for a cozy get-together in the museum's "Muluru" restaurant. A good opportunity to discuss the impressions gathered and to get to know each other better across departmental boundaries.

I have been coordinating our art events for many years and am pleased to see that so many colleagues are enthusiastic about taking part. The end of our guided tours is always a positive conclusion for me, as it creates a great atmosphere.

A visit to the Gaskessel Wuppertal

At the end of May, over 100 employees accepted our invitation to another exhibition. This time, they visited the historic Gaskessel in Wuppertal. The fascinating immersive presentation, "Leonardo da Vinci - uomo universale," awaited them in the Visiodrom. Interactive models and digital experience tours brought the life and work of the universal genius to life in an impressive way. The presentation, which is divided into 18 chapters and shown on Europe's largest 360-degree screen, is the centerpiece of this unique and unforgettable art event. Participants were divided into two groups and sent on a guided journey through the grandiose worlds of the universal genius. Afterwards, they were able to enjoy a wide selection of food, drinks, and lively discussions in the adjoining restaurant and round off the evening together.
