The past few years have been marked by numerous global challenges: supply chain disruptions, rising raw material costs, technological shifts, and geopolitical tensions have posed significant hurdles for many companies in the automotive industry. All the more remarkable is that the Coroplast Group has proven to be exceptionally resilient in this complex environment. With a 5th place ranking in the latest list of Germany’s top 50 automotive suppliers, we are among the leading players in the industry.
This ranking is the result of close, collaborative partnerships with our customers. Our focus is on long-term business relationships, excellent service, and continuous improvement. The success of this approach is evident not only in positive customer feedback but also in rankings like this one.
With our approach, we support automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers by providing customized solutions in the fields of technical tapes, cables and wiring, as well as wiring harnesses. The products from our business units Coroplast Tape, Coroflex, and WeWire are used worldwide across nearly all vehicle classes and propulsion technologies – whether in traditional combustion engines, hybrid vehicles, or fully electric models.
Through close development cooperation, high manufacturing quality, and ongoing investments in expertise and equipment, we make a significant contribution to the transformation of mobility.
Our Ranking Shows: It’s Not Just About Size. Equally important are our culture and mindset – one that puts people and entrepreneurial spirit at the center of everything we do. That’s what sets us apart as a medium-sized, family-owned business.
The Top 50 Automotive Suppliers in Germany is a respected, independent ranking published by the business magazine Markt und Mittelstand in partnership with the entrepreneur network Die Deutsche Wirtschaft. The selection is based on a comprehensive, research-backed evaluation using 39 individual criteria, each weighted differently and factored into an overall scoring index.
In addition to hard factors such as revenue, employee numbers, and growth rates, qualitative aspects like innovation strength, patent density, sustainability commitment, level of digitalization, and employer attractiveness are also considered. The result is a balanced picture of the economic strength and future viability of the awarded companies – making it a valuable benchmark for the performance of the Coroplast Group within the German Mittelstand.
