On May 22, the newly opened TAPE HUB at Coroplast Tape turned into a vibrant celebration. Together with the team from Bergischer Handball Club (BHC), our partners, and many of our employees, we looked back on a successful season – and celebrated a partnership that strengthens the very things that connect us all.

An event venue with symbolic meaning

Just a few weeks after its grand opening, Coroplast Tape’s new logistics center on Heinz-Fangman-Straße in Wuppertal – our TAPE HUB – proved to be the perfect setting for the promotion celebrations. With its open, light-filled spaces, cutting-edge technology, and plenty of room for connection, the venue embodies everything our partnership with BHC stands for: energy, performance, and a deep commitment to our region.

An evening among friends

A relaxed atmosphere, genuine connections, and a shared passion for handball. The spotlight was on the 18-member BHC team, their two coaches, and managing directors Philipp Tychy (Marketing) and Jörg Föste (Sports). Joining them were our regional partners and guests from politics and business – all of whom played a key role in supporting the construction of our TAPE HUB. And of course, our very own employees, many of whom are passionate handball fans and had entered the draw for free tickets to BHC’s home games. A DJ set the mood with laid-back music, while the catering team treated everyone to a delicious buffet and a variety of drinks. 

The evening also featured thoughtful insights, thanks to moderator Yvonne Peterwerth, who interviewed the two BHC managing directors live on stage. Their conversation offered a behind-the-scenes look at the club – from on-the-court challenges to long-term strategic goals. Our COO, Marcus Söhngen, who initiated the partnership back in 2021, gave a brief address highlighting the shared values and the meaningful impact this collaboration continues to have for our company
