Our corporate health management – awarded twice in a row
We are delighted to have received the Corporate Health Award from EUPD Research and Handelsblatt for 2024 after 2023 – and once again in the highest of three categories, the "Excellence" class. We see this prestigious award as a valuable endorsement of our systematic work on health services for our employees.
The Corporate Health Award
The focus of the nationwide award is a comprehensive audit in which experts from science, business and health care examine the structure, strategy and performance of the participating companies. This thorough assessment of our health management is what makes the Corporate Health Award so special: it clearly shows us where we can improve - and where we are already very well positioned.
This award objectively confirms what we feel subjectively: We are already doing a lot for the health of our employees and shouldn't hide in comparison with other companies. Nevertheless, we want to continue to improve and take away valuable tips from the audit so that we can continue to offer an attractive Corporate Health Management in the future.
Positive and development potential
The comprehensive evaluation highlights the fact that we play in the top league in many areas of health. This is demonstrated, for example, by:
- our Corporate Health Management structures
- the employer-financed supplementary health insurance
- the involvement of our apprentices in our health programs
- the various health campaigns on site
- our partnership with a fitness studio
- Training courses to strengthen resilience
- the psychological hotline
- the wide variety of healthy food on offer in our company restaurant
The auditors see room for improvement in the area of Corporate Health Management controlling, for example. If we make the right adjustments here, we can better understand how our measures and campaigns are accepted – and whether we understand the needs of our employees correctly. Overall, the Corporate Health Award experts confirm that we have an excellent health management system. In 17 out of 21 assessment criteria, we are already in the upper range and have even improved by 3% compared to the previous year.
We are very pleased with this confirmation, are proud of the result and remain highly motivated to continue optimizing our Corporate Health Management!
