Totally conventional. I replied to a job advertisement online. I had my first interview about six weeks later and then a second interview together with my future boss a fortnight after that. Immediately afterwards, I was treated to a tour of the facility. I received a verbal assurance a week later and the contract was posted to me straight away.

When no-one is even aware that a fault or damage occurred, that’s when I’m most successful. I see myself as a service provider who supports production by ensuring that the effects of any future disruptions are cushioned before they have a chance to be felt.
There’s an excellent spirit of solidarity between us. We don’t need any team-building processes or seminars. And we know we can always get in touch with one another if ever a problem arises after hours.
Any idea or any request that’s good and has benefits for our daily work, or that generally makes life easier for us, can be put into practice or fulfilled without delay. As long as everything runs smoothly, I’ve got a free hand. This creative freedom, in particular, results in a very good working atmosphere and environment for the whole department, and my subordinates, too, are satisfied and motivated. In short, it’s a modern, innovative company.
