After I had sent my application documents by e-mail, I was quickly contacted by the HR department to arrange an appointment for an interview. Then everything went quickly and very structured. I had two interviews within a month and finally held the contract in my hands.
What I find very interesting about the Coroplast Group is its international positioning as a family business from Wuppertal. The job description also matched my profile very well. Ultimately, however, it was the good discussions and the positive feedback that were the factors in my decision to take this job.
Very simplified: in the morning arrangements with China, at noon with suppliers and in the late afternoon with Mexico. In between, I discuss topics with suppliers such as cost optimization, new concepts or development potential in person – or I visit the production facilities on site. This gives me a good overview of the market situation and the strategic directions I can pursue in the individual product groups.
I get to meet a lot of new people, both internally and externally, and from all kinds of different countries. So it's not a typical office job, because I'm on the road a lot - and so I'm constantly learning new things.
The challenges lie in the day-to-day work. I have to adapt flexibly to new tasks and act in a solution-oriented manner in order to master the operative day-to-day business. At the same time, however, I have to work on strategic goals, maintain good supplier relationships and identify new opportunities for the product group.
We laugh a lot and have great professional discussions, so we learn a lot from each other and support each other.
WeWire suits me because my tasks challenge and encourage me. I am happy to be part of a great team and an internationally successful family business from Wuppertal.
